The female-only internship program is a one-year program with the primary objectives of empowering young female graduates and impacting the organization's gender parity that provides emerging female talents an opportunity to apply knowledge and enhance skills through mentoring and coaching, expanding their professional network, working on value-added projects, gaining hands-experience, and getting acquainted with the oriental difference.
Gender- intern will Closely work with the gender specialist in facilitating and conducting monthly MtMSG meetings and rolling out the SAA approach. And monitor and report/ document the progress of the monthly meeting in terms of observed behavioral change due to the SAA approach.
Participate in monthly the MtMSG and VSLAs dialog.
Assist to Roll out the SAA approach based on the SAA manual during the regular monthly Mt,MSG and VSLAs meeting.
Participate in regional task force meetings as appropriate.
Participate in gender-related projects and organizational activities.
Follow up on the number of MtMSG dialog conducted.
Assist in monthly progress report writing.
Collect reports from MtMSG health extension workers.
Participate in follow-up task force meetings when appropriate.
Monitoring the monthly dialog is running as per set schedule.
Understanding and demonstrated commitment to the importance of gender, youth, and social inclusion issues.
Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and PSEAH (safeguarding), as evidenced in previous positions/programming
IV. Qualifications
BA in Gender study, social work, sociology, anthropology, and another related field with zero-year experience
IIV. Required skills.
Computer skills in Microsoft word, Microsoft PowerPoint and excel.

English and Afar’af (Mandatory)
