Job Description

The Cab Dispatcher and Call center operator role is a unique opportunity to help drive growth through the optimization of CabbyUS’s growing number of fleet partners, and drivers. This is a critical role as it directly correlates to continually improving the rider experience through greater availability while minimizing costs. This data-driven role calls for a rare combination of linguistic (Spoken and written English), analytical thinking & interpersonal ability to manage partnerships.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Effectively address customer issues, complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Manage, allocate and prioritize Cabi rider bookings to ensure all jobs are dispatched in a timely manner

  • Ensuring proper safety, security and handling of Cabby Taxi fleets to the best interest of the organization and manage Cabby Taxi vehicle fleet in accordance to the operational needs and in compliance with the required standard procedures.

  • Ensure the answering of all telephone line immediately

  • Answers incoming calls to the call center and provides accurate information for all taxi driver and customer calls.

  • Prepares computer-generated reports and other incidental and general information for the transport controller.

  • Responsible for efficient, effective unit deployment through intelligent use of System Status Plan to ensure the best and safest response time performance possible

  • Provides coordination of available resources as efficiently and effectively as possible to ensure prompt handling of all mobility transports.

  • Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with management staff, fellow associates, and the general public

  • Manage each call within allotted time and send taxi to the sight

  • Handle each call with calm, professional manner and update the caller with any relevant information as soon as possible.

  • Direct customers or clients to relevant departments for questions relating to services received

  • Monitor and report the performance of the vehicle tracking system.

  • Ability to prepare detailed written reports

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 and above years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in the dispatching field and be able to multitask (ringing phone lines, messaging, email, etc.) is preferred
