Duties and Responsibilities

• As per the requirement, prepare Geo packages for the census team;

• Monitor and supervise the census team job activities and the accomplishment;

• Verify the accuracy of the information on survey forms or information pads are correctly completed;

• Conduct Quantity Analysis in the field and ensure the data integrity;

• Conduct personal observations of the census team as they work in the field and conduct on-the-job training;

• Respond accurately, clearly, and promptly to questions, problems, and concerns from census team;

• Ensure census team are doing their task properly within the time frame set for the assignment;

• Provide timely feedback to the census team on their performance to meet deadlines and quality standards;

• Ensure field operations are adequately staffed to maintain workflow and assist with recruitment, as needed;

• Verify that the maps loaded on the tablet devices for his/her assigned area accurately reflect the household buildings and boundaries in the field;

• Ensure the safety and security of the tablet assigned to him/ her for census field operations;

• Serve as a liaison between census project and management personnel and field data collectors;

• Submit regular progress reports according to required schedule and procedures.

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geomatics or related fields.

 Additional qualifications

• Able to communicate verbally and in written format to all organizational levels

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including word, Excel and power point;

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proved Knowledge of using GIS, QGIS and related software

  • Physically able to handle field works

Years of experience: 5+ years’ experience in Asset Survey and Digitization
