BACKGROUND:

EthioChicken is a leading distributor of chickens to rural farmers in Ethiopia. We are a rapidly growing Company that believes in investing in our employees and offers them opportunities for career advancement. Ethiochicken is an Ethiopian based company.

OUR VISION:

Our vision is to bring one chicken per person per year though smallholder farmers .

·        Install and configure computer hardware, software systems, networks, printers and scanners.

·        Monitoring and maintaining computers systems and networks

·        Conduct data backup, testing and archiving.

·        Provide technical support to all IT related matters.

·        Maintain the documentation of all hardware configuration and inventory listing.

·        Set up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.

·        Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).

·        Reviewing and writing recommendations of IT products for internal use.

·        Familiar with any ERP software or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

·        Liaising with government offices in relation to telecom services.

·        Liaise and administer all IT related supplies and purchases.

·        Performs any other related duties as required.

Competences

·     Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

·        Familiar with any ERP software

·        Willing to travel

·        Desire to be involved in the future implementation of any systems

·        Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

·        Good communication skill both in Amharic & English

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirement

·        B.Sc. or Diploma in Computer science, information technology/systems, computer/software/electrical engineering, or similar field of study.

·        Willing to travel to different regional sites.

Experience

·        2 years for B.Sc. / 4 years for Diploma.

·        Experience with companies with different branches is preferable

·        Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be an added advantage
