Job Description

We are looking for a competent Human Resources and Administration Manager who has exceptional skills in designing and monitoring HR department goals and objectives.

Major Responsibility

  • Manage all HR functions including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, training and development, compensation, retention and separation;

  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.

  • Design a suitable induction plan for new joiners and ensure the proper delivery in the same manner;

  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.

  • Handle periodical resource auditing and identify gaps to fill vacant positions ahead of time;

  • Conduct periodical training need assessment and set appropriate budget to build the team capacity at each level;

  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization and encourage employees to accomplish roles in high performance;

  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.

  • Design and Review the HR policy and manuals that could fit with the company strategy and Ethiopian labor law;

  • Develop and implement payment and reward policies and practices which fit the company and industry trend and craft incentive schemes for employees in order to motivate and enable them to work harder. 

  • Ensure Staff Health and Safety procedures are implemented as per the SHE policy and procedures;

  • Ensure all HR documentation and data management is in line with internal control procedures and company guidelines;

  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations that affect human resources functions;

  • Consolidate exit interviews for all separated staff and provide a consolidated report for the management input;

  • Ensure employment contract agreements are up-to-date and renewals are made in a timely manner;

  • Other tasks as required and assigned by the line manager;

    • Proved experience in coordinating & managing multidisciplinary employees

    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

    • Excellent leadership skills;

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or related fields

Experience:

  • 8 -10+ Years of proven work experience.

    • 5+ years of experience in a managerial position is mandatory.
