Job Description

  • Manage sponsorship operations with community volunteer and Gorro Sponsorship staffs.  

  •   Maintain and meet quality sponsorship business process in Gorro AP

  • Prepare Annual Sponsorship Business Operations Plan implement and follow up.

  • Coordinate and monitor the implementation of sponsorship business of Gorro APs as per the sponsorship policies, standards and guidelines.

  • Coordinate, plan, and utilization of GNs, Birthday Bounce-Back budgets, gift kit, and Christmas celebration budgets with community

  • Network & build smooth relationship with stakeholders/customers APs staffs, EARO, SOs & GC) in order to enhance the effectiveness sponsorship business process.

  • Coordinate and engage on sponsors / donors visit requests,

  • Implement new Sponsorship initiatives / projects related to sponsorship operations and ensure it roll out and implementation.

  • Ensure timely collection of sponsors to child mails/parcels from post office, DHL FedEx and the registration in SingleSTEP system and dispatching of the sponsors-child mails to children.

  • Ensure the timely collection submission of child to sponsor correspondences (ILs, RLs, GN TYLs APRs and Christmas Cards give to respective children and collect the collect the replay letter and sent to

  • Ensure that all GNs are timely communicated to the children and utilized and responded to sponsors accordingly.

  • Coordinate, follow up and give feedback on APRs’ template, Child Expression Worksheets (CEW), Storyteller World Worksheet and Christmas Cards and their printing processes.

  • Enhance AP performance against the SOIs and standards using Sponsorship system and other tools as appropriate.

  •  Identify potential risks as per sponsorship standards and respond accordingly in coordination with  

  • Undertake RC monitoring and produce reports based on the identified gaps and submit to AP management order to ensure sponsorship business are handled against the standards.

  • Work closely APs’ sponsorship staffs on the quality of child communication (farewell letter, project closure comment, etc.) by improving children’s skill and their engagement and participation on child to Sponsor communications.

  • Enhance data quality and sponsorship system related issues.

  • Support sponsorship with programs to ensure Sponsorship Minimum Programming Standard (SMPS) and Sponsorship in Programming (SIP) are implemented in AP.

  • Participate and take part in designing /redesigning of sponsorship program and new sites identification of APs and ensure that Sponsorship Minimum Programming Standard (SMPS) are included and Sponsorship feasibility assessment process is properly managed.

  • Prepare, review, compile and submit quality monthly, quarterly and annual reports on timely basis.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification required: BA/BSC in MIS, ICT, English, Psychology, Sociology, and other relevant fields with Experiences:  Minimum 3 years and above experience in child sponsorship operation.

  • Preferred:  BA/BSC in ICT / MIS with 2 years and experiences in child sponsorship data handling.

  • Technical Training qualifications required:  Professional technical skill desired

    • Basic computer skills in Windows, Ms Excel, Word, publisher and power point.

    • Proven negotiation skills,

    • Fluent writing and spoken English.

  • Other:  Good knowledge in WV sponsorship programs is preferred.
