Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Samaritan’s Purse is privileged to be part of the humanitarian effort in Ethiopia and legally registered as foreign charity to work in Ethiopia since October 08, 2018.

The administrative support coordinator will provide general office and administration support to the senior leadership team and the human resource team; facilitates and coordinates local and international travels for staff (both local and IFS) and visitors.
Management Responsibilities
This position will involve management of the receptionist. The receptionist will be a direct report to the Administrative Coordinator.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Provide executive support to the Senior Leadership Team (Country Director, Deputy Country Directors, and Finance Manager)
· Track the flights of incoming guests and IFS
· Supports in flight and travel arrangements for local staff international travels and local flights)
· Assist with visas for those coming to Ethiopia, as well as supporting the process of visa renewal
· Communicate with incoming guests and IFS regarding arrival and country-specific information
· Coordinate with the receptionist to ensure hotels are booked for guests
· Coordinate with the fleet team regarding airport pick up and drop off
· Coordinate with the base manager to ensure new arrivals have SIM cards and phone credit
· Provide supervision and management to the receptionist

Education / Experience Needed
· BA in office administration or related fields
· 1 -2 years of professional working experience preferably in humanitarian organization
Language Skills
Excellent spoken, written and reading skills in English and Amharic.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
