Job Summary

• Senior Corruption Risk Research Officer is responsible for identifying corruption vulnerabilities across the Bank's policies and procedures that may lead to potential corruption risks, Conduct research, providing alternative recommendations, monitoring the implementation of the unit work plan, ensuring compliance with anti-corruption policies and strategies, and performing benchmarking activities.  In addition, the role holder is responsible for facilitating the registration or disclosure of personal assets in the system, avoiding or minimizing conflicts of interest, and ensuring transparency and accountability to achieve the Bank's mission.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Law, Civics and Ethics, Political science and International Relations, Good Governance, Economics, Accounting, Project Management, Banking and Finance, Accounting and Finance, Psychology, Sociology, Social Works, Journalism and Communication, Public Administration,  Business Administration or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum of Five (5) years relevant experience.

•  Better understanding of proclamation, policies, procedures issued by international and national related to ethics, corruption and improprieties                                                                              

•  Ability to demonstrate sound and independent judgement, prudence and maturity in complex and sensitive cases.

•  Ability to work with utmost discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.                                                                                                                                                                    

•   Good understanding of research methodologies and techniques

•  Good understanding of professional and ethical standards

•  Good understanding of Ethiopian constitution and laws
