DEPUTY EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial manager to identify compelling stories and create editorial packages for both online and print forms.
The candidate will be involved in content development, trafficking, and quality control as well as working with the design team in marrying content to visual concepts and page designs and the digital team in coordinating print and online content.
Priority will be accorded to candidates who have proof of experience in content and production management, vast content and copy editing skills, and solid managerial skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be fluent in English, have exceptional background in writing and research in policy making, particularly monetary and fiscal policies, and a keen eye for what makes a good story.
The candidate must be able to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment in constant communication with members of the editorial team.
The Deputy Editor-in-Chief will be responsible for selecting and editing articles for a weekly publication, supervising and supporting reporters, and pitching ideas and leads each week.
