Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Economist and with guidance from the Secretary-General, the Senior Advocacy and Partnership specialist plans and implements policy advocacy, communications initiatives, and partnership activities of the chamber. In line with the five years strategic plan of the chamber, he/she.

• Sets goals and objectives for the activities mentioned above,
• Synthesizes success indicators, identifies means of measurement, and prepares timely reports and briefs on activities to the Secretary-General
• Pre-identify pertinent target audience from among relevant stakeholders and
• Updates and advises the Secretary-General on major policy developments, directives, and strategies initiated and promulgated by the government with relevance to business and economic sectors

Job Requirements:

Education: BA/MA/ in Economics, BA/LLM degree in Law, and related fields of Studies from Recognized higher learning Institutions
Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 8 years for BA holders and 6 years of work experience for Master's degree holders
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High-level reporting and writing skills in English languages;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good knowledge of policy analysis and advocacy matters
• Teamwork spirit,
• Good ethical behavior, a fair understanding of the national and international economy, trade, and investment environment
• Demonstrated technical ability, sound judgment, and ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels;
• Good conceptual understanding of the participatory approach
• Willingness to accept changes and implement them;
• Accepting the given responsibility and being committed to overcoming it;
• Ability to discharge responsibility and problem-solving mindset

Salary: Monthly Gross 32,544 + 1,270
