Purpose:

• Process Control Engineer performs routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitors automated systems, isolates problems and performs repairs.

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for the site Electrical/Automation systems to facilitate the achievement of key outputs of the Product Supply Function, Supervise contractors during the installation and start-up phases of a project, Lead the testing, troubleshooting, and qualification of new equipment / processes Perform and deploy instrumentation preventive/predictive maintenance procedures according to the plant maintenance strategy.

• Responsible for projects implementation.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Implementation and support of Capex project including equipment automation and control. Performs other activities as instructed by the CAPEX Project Manager or Engineering Manager;

• Performs Automation System evaluations, determines automation strategy as well as hardware / software requirements. Assists with the development of the Automation Master Plan. Continuous improvement of on technical availability and reliability of machine and equipment;

• Undertakes project studies on process description of cigarette factory or tobacco farm stations and prepares Terms of Reference and evaluation criteria document for project studies to be carried out by external consultants;

• Takes measurements of work performed; keeps records of and reports on material consumption, man power and equipment used and costs involved in any electrical materials; repair and maintenance work; Monitor PLCs, meters and gauges to verify that machines work properly and analyze the results to ensure they meet company standards. Involves in the supervision of installation and commissioning of new machinery for cigarette factory and farm projects;

• Prepares a completion report of activities/projects whether they have been done according to drawings/circuits and specifications, and upon the approval of the completion report, supports provisional and final acceptance.

• Works in collaboration with external consultants and evaluates implementation of the project at various stages. Evaluates proposals of external consultants based on the prepared technical specification;

• Prepares contract document for winning bidders in collaboration with Legal and Corporate Affairs Service;

• Makes available all documents and materials necessary for project studies to be undertaken by external consultants;

• Execute all tasks inline with Local Legislations and EHS standards. Creating good communication & information to production team.

Other:

• Performs other activities as instructed by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

Education:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering.

Work Experience:

• More than 5 years of experience.
