The Ohio State Global One Health (GOH LLC) is an affiliate entity of The Ohio State University working extensively on a range of One Health-related and system building projects over the past 12 years. The GOH LLC has been working with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, Ethiopian Public Health Institute, Regional Health Bureaus and other stakeholders to strengthen the national health system capacity to prevent, detect and respond to various health threats through building surveillance, laboratory and workforce capacity in Ethiopia.

1.     Job Summary

Under close supervision of Training, Events and Fleet Coordinator, cleaner keeps the office premises, office furniture and supplies, kitchen equipment, bathrooms clean and in orderly condition and prepares tea and coffee.

2.     Specific Duties

• Cleans floors, carpets / rugs, walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, equipment, toilets and disposes waste;

• Regularly collect and empty trash

• Prepares and serves tea and coffee

• Ensures the proper receipt, safe keep and regular replenishment of enough stocks of sanitary and other required supplies;

• Notifies immediate supervisor concerning the need for repairs and maintenance

• Monitor office rooms security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours

• Performs related tasks as required.
