Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage bid clarifications and coordinate with a different team to gather adequate clarification points on time;

  • Prepare technical and financial tender documents as required and submit the approved document before the deadline;

  • Creating a compelling proposal that meets the requirements while also standing out from the competition;

  • Identify all the pre-qualifications and present them to the management for review and approval;

  • Perform detailed cost analysis based on target price and/or bid competitiveness and value proposition;

  • Monitor the preparation and submission of the tender document as per the government rules and guidelines set by the company;

  • Ensure the tender submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency, and compliance;

  • Prepare tender review information in order to ensure methodology, pricing and margin contingency have adequately adhered;

  • Building and leading the tender teams and managing the smooth running of the department;

  • Ensures all relevant documentation for bid proposals is complete, updated and accurate;

  • Identify risk and opportunity in the proposal pricing in order to mitigate inherent risk at the tender submission stage;

  • Maintain a strong channel of relevant opportunities and review with the relevant teams to make an appropriate decision on which to pursue;

  • Develop appropriate templates that are compliant with the requirements of major procurement and government bodies;

  • Perform other duties assigned and delegated by the Human Resource Manager

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

  • Degree in Procurement, Purchasing or related fields

Additional qualifications

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills;

    • Self-motivated and ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time;

    • Good understanding of the tender process and strong negotiation skills;

    • Experience in working with contract administration;

    • Ability to work under pressure, with deadlines and challenging targets

    • Knowledge of procurement process and supply chain management.

Years of experience: 7+ years of experience in similar assignments is advantageous

Salary: As per the Company Scale
