General Job description

• Performs a variety of welding to complete structural repair and maintain fabrication on various vehicles and equipment. Designs and fabricates metal components and structures to improve existing designs and reliability. Inspects and performs routine maintenance on light, heavy and specialized equipment.

      Performs structural repair on vehicles

• Repair, replace, and upgrade a variety of vehicle parts

• Entrusted with the fabrication of metal components

• Improves structural design and integrity

• Interprets factory diagrams

• Knowledgeable with equipment and technical manuals

• Fluent in the interpretation of blueprints and sketches

• Complies with safety regulations

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Level 4/Diploma with 4/2 years working experiences as a welder and valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.

Skills

• excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

Technician Requirements:

• Previous experience as an auto body technician is strongly preferred

• Ability to utilize a wide variety of car maintenance and repair tools
