Major Responsibilities

Under close supervision of the Finance Manager, senior accountant II Treasury, tax and budget  accountable for the accounting operations of the Head Office, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls.

Detail Responsibilities 

  • Provide finical and budgeting analysis support in the preparation and execution of the company’s strategic and annual plan.

  • Review and verify as per budget all Head office Petty cash and CPV prepared by Junior Accountant

  • Develop and drive annual budgeting process including coordination and consolidation of income and expense budget.

  •  Build and execute periodically forecasting routine for incomes and expenses.

  •  Monitor and control variance of actual against plan.

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures and highlight trends and analyses causes of unexpected variance.

  • Inform department managers of due dates for the submission of budget information.

  •  Guide and advise department managers in formulating their budget and due dates for submission of budget information.

  • Review proposed budget submissions from department managers for accuracy and completeness.

  • Examine whether budget submissions can be achieved based on known capacity constraints and inform management of potential problem areas.

  • Prepare consolidated budget version for management approval.

  • Distribute the approved budget throughout the company and explain issues as requested.

  •  Compare actual to budgeted results at the end of each reporting period and report on significant variances.

  •  Updated the budget model as requested to account for significant changes in the business environment.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance or related fields with minimum of (7) years of demonstrated experience

  • ERP Experience is A+
