Job description :-The Sanitary & Hygiene officer is in charge to plan, develop, monitor and evaluate the assigned Sanitation and Hygiene promotion component of the Manufacturing, Using the knowledge of sanitation procedures to eliminate all possible sources of or unsanitary conditions. Conduct daily inspections on hygiene and sanitation conditions of all production and compounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for supervision, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of ongoing routine of maintaining factory hygiene, monitor exhaustive cleaning routines performed periodically for designated facility areas [dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc...];

• Perform and documents routine inspection and maintenance activities;

• Plan, organize and carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects;

• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs, adjust minor repair;

• Ensures that activities are carried out in compliance with the logical Framework and indicators in a timely manner;

• Responsible for efficient monitoring of the sanitary activities as well as the punctual preparation of the reports;

• Participate in the development of suitable and effective waste management plan / device;

• Create awareness on waste management;

• Carry out trainings on impact and possible alternative for disposal and recycling;

• Contributes to improving the sanitary conditions of the production area, office premises and kitchen areas as well;

• To monitor the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitations conducted at planned intervals with the objective of ensuring building, machines equipment, and tools are free from contaminants and dirt; 

Requirements

Academic qualification

• BSC in Environmental science/ Related field;

Additional qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office;

  • Good time management skills with the ability to multitask;

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Skills in accuracy, organization, and working in a high-volume environment;

  • Good Reporting skill

Years of experience:  Fresh Graduate
