Job Description

Human resources officers develop and implement strategies that help their employers select and retain appropriately qualified staff within that business sector. They recruit staff, prepare job advertisements, interview and short-list people, negotiate with employment agencies, and set up working conditions. Human resources officers also administer the payroll, review salaries and advise on remuneration benefits and employment law. They arrange for training opportunities to enhance employees' performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the office's first point of contact for all Human Resources activities with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manages recruitment activities and selection processes such as posting jobs, shortlisting applicants, scheduling and lead/participating in all interviews,

  • Ensure all recruitment and selection processes adhere to proper procedures and are properly documented.

  • Manage candidate database and make sure it is updated on time.

  • Manage client contracts and maintain consistent communication with them.

  • Provide regular updates on the status of recruitment to clients and the General Manager.

  • Processes internal new hires and leads the on boarding process, as well as performance management, employee exits, and other activities.

  • Manage all reports as requested and deliver to the GM.

  • Make sure sensitive or confidential information is protected.

  • Professionally collaborates and works with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manages employee compensation and benefits, including ensuring compliance with local labor laws and practices, as well as company norms.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Human Resources Management or related area

Experience:

  • 2 years in managing human resources area

  • Exposure to other broader functions will be advantageous (eg. Finance, IT etc)
