What are the tasks and responsibilities of project assistants?
Project assistants/document controllers perform administrative tasks according to the instructions of their project managers and ensure smooth communication between all relevant parties.
Support with the preparation of Letters, reports, and all project-related documentation
Management of the project office
Internal and external communication
Follow-up of meetings and presentations
Acting as a stand-in for the project manager
General organizational tasks
Which hard skills and soft skills should project assistants have?
Project assistants should be proficient in applying standard project management methods. Furthermore, they should have a good command of MS Office and the common project planning tools and be familiar with the relevant industry and the company’s business environment. Project assistants should possess a large range of soft skills, be able to work proactively, and always think ahead.

Education
Degree in Business Administration, Library Management, Record Management, or related fields.
