PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

SHE Officer is responsible to oversee the overall safety and health related issues throughout ongoing operation and teams to ensure compliance with government safety regulations .

S/He is expected to to uphold Moyee roasting fascility and sister company, Tega & Tula coffee farm, standards through inspecting , evaluating risks, proposing mitigation steps and insuring adherence to ensure the safety of the company’s employees, asset and the society the companies function in.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect, evaluate, & impact of production toward environment.

• Providing health and safety training courses for teams.

• Daily follow up of good manufacturing practice, Good hygienic practice and food safety.

• Review/ Investigate accidents and incidents and conduct field audits, reporting and managing the corrective actions.

• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.

• Maintain up-to-date data records for compliance & report monthly major and minor non conformities and initiate corrective and/or preventive actions

Job Requirement

Education

• BSC Degree in Environmental health, sanitation

Experience

• 3+ years after Graduate, with first hand experience in food processing

• Effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders

• Computer Skills

• Analytical thinking/ Research & Analysis

• Good Microsoft Office and analytical skills

• Teamwork & Team Building
