The social care officer is responsible for following up on and offering direct supervision of the supply of both material and moral support to the sponsored with the goal of cooperation for the improvement of their social conditions based on the principle of comprehensive sponsorship and in accordance with the humanitarian and development procedures and guidelines followed in this field.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing case studies in accordance with the social research methodology as directed by the Social Welfare Officer.

• preparing case studies for the Social Welfare Officer and providing him with detailed details on the studied cases as required.

• Follow up on the preparation of case files in accordance with the association’s list of required documents, and ensure the accuracy, validity, and truthfulness of all documents submitted.

• Preparing and conducting the weekly / monthly work plan under the supervision of the Social Welfare Officer.

• Communicate with the various authorities in the guarantees supervisor’s worksite to serve the beneficiaries’ provision of services.

• Preparing individual reports for beneficiaries based on categories and the duration approved for completion of these reports, as well as ensuring that all data contained in the reports is up-to-date and precise.

Job Requirement

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or another social science field is required.

• One to two years of professional experience in the field of social work programs and community service with non-governmental organizations.

• Fluency in Arabic and English.

• Ability to work collaboratively with partners and vendors.

• Report write skill.

• Good understanding in social issues as well as family and community development issues.
