Overview of the position: The position holder is responsible for the overall management of the production and other support teams to enhance productivity capacity of the factory and achieve the overall company’s strategic objectives. The position holder is expected to have a minimum of Three (3) years of practical experience in the furniture industry.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.

• Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed in consultation with the marketing team.

• Design a cost-effective production system and manage the process to function in a cost-effective manner.

• Build a motivated, competent and results focused manufacturing team.

• Ability to review work performance

• Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.

• Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.

• Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.

• Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.

• Ensure that the facility runs efficiently with the highest productivity possible.

• Conduct periodic inspections of all departments to ensure standards are met.

• Oversee safety protocols and programs

• Perform other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Related Fields

Work Experience: 10+ years of experience as Factory Manager and At least 3 years’ experience in Furniture Industry

Work Experience: 8+ years of experience as production and Technique Related position and At least 3 years’ experience in furniture Company.

Desirable experience and skills:

• Planning and organization skills with strong communication skills to lead the overall manufacturing process.

• Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work in a logical systemic manner and analyze manufacturing data and write manufacturing reports
