Job Description
Summary of major duties
Provide legal aid services including preparation of pleadings and other legal document, provision of advice and referral services to target beneficiaries of the project.
Assist the Regional/Project Area Manager in following client’s cases and regularly communicate with justice sector actors;
Assist the Regional/Project Area Manager in organization of community rights trainings;
Identify and contact community leaders and others for community rights promotion, trainings and dialogue;
Prepare a compendium of cases and legal instruments including federal supreme court cassation bench decisions regarding the focus on the project
Assist the Regional/ Project Area Manager in the preparation of plans and report,
Perform other duties as may be assigned;
Job Requirement
First degree in law or other related discipline;
At least 2 years of work experience
Experience in legal/court practice;
Experience in project management and community engagement is a plus;
Good interpersonal communication;

Salary (Gross):
20,000.00 (plus employment benefits for Addis Ababa)
15,000.00 (plus employment benefits for Hawassa)
Place of work – Addis Ababa and Hawassa ( 1 for each project areas)
