Responsibilities

• Ensure all start up checks have been carried out and visually inspect that production area and machinery are hygienically clean before production commences.

• Calibration of check-weight before production commences.

• Quality inspection of products against product specification and quality standards

• inspect the quality of  soap  and paperwork being completed by production

• Checking product quality, legality and quality at the start and end of the production run and regularly throughout the production run.

• Identification of non-conforming product and processes and ensuring that Quality Manager is informed as soon as possible.

• Supporting production operatives and team leaders to ensure quality standards are met.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• BSc in Degree in chemistry; industrial chemistry and chemical engineer from recognized college/ university.

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required.

• Preferable if engaged in soap factories

• Strong learning culture and positive attitude

• Critical thinking, commitment to quality increase, initiative, who can dedicate the cost.

• Responsibility, risk awareness, strong technical and problem solving skills

• Self initiator with high degree of self-management and energetic
