Performs general medical services to patients of all ages and cases but do not typically specialize in a particular area. Treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients. Provide primary contact and continuous care toward the management of patient’s. GPs will diagnose, treat, prescribe medication and manage a wide range of medical conditions. GPs usually the first doctor to consult any medical services. In General terms, Diagnosing, Examining, Consulting, Post-Surgery Follow-up, Health Education and Prevention, Referrals, Treatment Prescription, Administrative and Management Duties

Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health

• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments

• Perform and assist in routine surgery

• Provide emergency care

• Provide acute care management

• Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases

• Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care

• Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention

• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

• Perform patient advocacy role

• Coordinate or manage primary patient care

• Provide continuous care to patients

• Report births, deaths, and contagious and other diseases to governmental authority

• Collaboration with Nurses and other team.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Specification Requirement

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• BSc in Doctor of Medicine

• 3-5 years’ experience as General practitioner

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Good knowledge in Computer and good communication skill

Working Conditions

• Work may require frequent weekend and evening work.
