We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven FINISHING AND INTERIOR DESIGNER to assist in to our organizations of KOKET FINISHING AND INTERIOR DESIGNER. An Finishing and Interior Designer needs a certain set of skills in order to effectively design, implement and oversee the completion of a project, including: Strong creativity, artistic ability and imagination, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to read and draw blueprints, Knowledge of the quality, rates and locations of raw materials, Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and resolve any issues regarding operation and delay, Strong leadership and management skills, Advanced attention to detail, Problem-solving skills

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs and the purpose of the space.

• Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors

• Creating initial design sketches, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability

• Getting approval from the client before creating CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors

• Overseeing the buying process of all raw materials and items required to complete the project

• Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress

• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline

• Conducting meetings to discuss plans and updates

• Understanding the needs of the people using the space

• Preparing sketches and mood boards for the client and team

• Creates idea boards to communicate design concepts to clients

• Enhances and improves interior spaces’ functionality by modifying architectural elements and arranging furnishings, artwork, and décor

• Creates project budgets, including materials and labor.

• Maintains relationships with vendors and outside contractors, and hires out work as necessary

• Participates in regular networking opportunities and actively develops a client base

• Performs research and maintains a working knowledge of trends and new developments in the interior design and architecture worlds

• Adheres to national and local building and safety codes with every design element

• Reads and interprets blueprints

• Works closely with various colleagues, including architects, artists, contractors, painters, upholsterers, and building inspectors
