The Asset & Reporting Officer is responsible for the overall management of IMC Ethiopia assets, ensuring the IMC Assets policy is respected and implemented at all offices, ensure the timely annual and quarterly verification's are carried out timely, and prepares the bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics reports both offline and online.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Always maintains Assets data base accurately, follow on the disposal of damaged items
* Ensure custodian form is filled and kept before handling out assets
* Prepares & shares periodic Asset report to all relevant as per the required policy
* Follow the assets allocation and movement with field teams and update the online status accordingly
* Tags assets prior to providing the item to end user
* Extract assets procured from the monthly GL and adds them to the online Assets Register
* Communicate with field teams and carries assets disposal/addition as applicable
* Is responsible for any assets related work and serves as a bridge between head office and field offices and address and manage communication with HQ on the subject
* Responsible to the various IMC reporting requirements both offline and online version
* Communicate with field teams and collects reports on time, compile and share to supervisor for verification
* Ensures bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports are submitted on time
* Liaise with various departments to collect necessary information for the applicable reporting
* Undertakes other logistical tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· BA degree in Management, Logistics or related field with 21/2 years or above experience.
· Proficiency of Microsoft Office including MS Word and Excel, as well as email communications and other computer programs.
· Professionalism, Honesty, Integrity.
· Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures involved in assets management and reporting
· Considerable knowledge of the basics in procurement and reporting
· Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled engaged in the day-to-day activities
· Ability to accomplish tasks within a reasonable period
· Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English.
