Under the general directives of the General Manager: the Production planner; plans, organizes and coordinates the production, activities; shall be responsible to organize the daily operations. Make certain raw material fulfills requirement of the factory; control the availability of raw materials; checks the stock level of spare parts and verifies the specifications; follows up the process and sets priorities; monitor the production equipment to make sure that it says in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment when needed.      

Descriptions of Duties

• Plans, organizes and coordinates the production process.

• Assesses production requirements, plant capacity and performance.

• Studies and evaluates the performance and capacity of existing machines and equipment with respect to actual and future requirements and assesses additional needs.

• Ensures production activities are performed according to production programs and time schedules.

• Determines sequence of operations, sets production priorities and guides the organization of work

• Carries out research on spare parts consumption, reuse and solving bottleneck areas.

• Estimates supplies and materials needed and makes requisitions.

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance.

• Receives job order from marketing, plans and passes same to the three departments for execution.

• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.

• Performs any other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• BSC degree in Chemical Engineering ,chemistry and other related fields

Experience

• Minimum of 1(one) year experience as Production planner at Manufacturing sector.
