Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-functional project team to define the problem-to-solve and lead the data modelling strategy;

• Responsible for the quality and defensibility of statistical analyses, models and data interpretation;

• Handle statistical analysis for the existing parameters by applying appropriate statistical methods using different software;

• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures for company products;

• Identifying, developing and implementing statistical methodologies in support of product development and life-cycle management;

• Put on statistical theory and methods to design experiments, and to gather, organize, interpret, and summarize R&D data to drive business results;

• Provide broader technical knowledge, expertise, support and advice for the production management team;

• Building and maintaining effective strategic relationships with internal and external partners to meet business needs;

• Continuously identify opportunities and work on system improvements to meet the business’ growing requirements;

• Lead automation initiatives of routine tasks increasing efficiency and quality of product production;

• Handle other related tasks as assigned by the immediate manager;

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

• BA Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics or related fields

Additional qualifications

• Efficiency in English and Amharic, both writing and speaking;

  • Experience with modeling and simulation, and other innovative methodologies

  • Proven ability to project manage and prioritize activities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented;

  • Good time management and organizational skills;

  • Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong foundations in mathematical and statistical Methods;

Years of experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven work experience
