Position: Health Programme Intern

Under the supervision of the Health Officer, the Health Programme Intern provides assistance throughout the programming process for Benishangul Gumuz health programmes. Search for more jobs on geezjobs.com They will apply theoretical and technical skills in collecting, analyzing, and presenting technical programme information to support the development and formulation of health programs within the region while learning organizational rules, regulations, and procedures.
Support Benishangul Gumuz Health Programme development and planning.
Support implementation and monitoring of planned activities at regional, zonal and woreda levels, including humanitarian programs in the conflict-affected areas of the region.
Provide technical support to the regional health bureau, zonal health department, and woreda health offices, and health facilities in UNICEF supported maternal, newborn, and child health program implementation.
Closely monitor the requesting and timely utilization and liquidation of health Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCTs) in close communication with Bureau of Finance and Economic Development.
Support the compiling and development of physical reports for health DCTs, including emergency programs, Search for more jobs on geezjobs.com.
Provide technical support in the requisition, reception, distribution, and utilization (end-user monitoring) of health supplies at all levels,
Strengthen Networking and partnership building with stakeholders, through the participation of technical working groups, and meetings.
Provide technical support in the development and report writing of donor reports for grants received from donors.
Provide support to other health-related operational and administrative tasks as needed.
Be enrolled at a university in Ethiopia at the undergraduate or graduate level or be a recent graduate (within the past two years) in public health, Health education & promotion, health informatics, Nursing, midwifery, or another health-related science field.
Knowledge of basic computer systems and applications; excellent knowledge of MS Office is required.
Fluency in spoken and written the English language is required.
