Major Responsibilities

The ICT Manger will develop the strategy and then plan, organise, and staff and overall ICT operations to ensure the stable and secure Organisational operations.

The Head is also responsible for managing, administering and supporting systems spanning the on premise, remote and cloud-based environments. Will manage the organisation's technology portfolio, work with Chief Officers and other staff to develop a shared vision for the organisation's short and long-term technology strategies.

Detail Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of information systems strategies, policies and procedures to help the Company achieve its business goals and ensure the security of data and information systems. 

• Monitor the definition, development and communication of Business and technology target architecture, implementation road maps and supporting standards that supports the Company business strategy.

• Lead the design and development of IT solutions and change to the business to support current and future business needs

• Monitor the appropriate IT solution delivery to business areas.

• Ensure that the IT function provides stable and quality technology services to the business.

• Guide and coordinate activities related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of major information systems while managing all information technology vendor relationships.

• Oversee the design, selection and implementation of Information Technology applications and support infrastructures.

• Monitor the compliance of the information systems network and infrastructure with internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, regulatory agencies and legal requirements.

• Liaise with all functions to continuously identify new Information Technology requirements.

• Provide advice to senior leadership team on matters related to developing the Company’s information system and technological capabilities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

• Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology (ICT), Computer Science or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years in a managerial position

Or

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology (ICT), Computer Science or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience of which four (4) years in a managerial position.

Additional Skill

• Proven successful experience 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in ERP is A+

• Good team management skill
