Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure  

• Ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information of the Company

• Assists the Finance Department manager to support overall department goals and objectives

• Assists in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the finance department  

Training: Competence in MS office and Accounting package. Certification  in IFRS is an advantage

Language Proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English & Afan Oromo is required.

Desired qualifications:

• Should be a BA/ MBA/MA in Accounting, Finance and Accounting related fields of study and 8/6 years of relevant work experience out of which 3 years in senior position.
