Duties and responsibilities
Manage and control the accuracy of financial transaction captured in the general ledger and subsidiary ledger recorded in the Peachtree system.
Oversee that all transactions are recorded based on ASBM chart of account, system, cost center and account number,.
Maintain system of accounts and keep books and records on all transactions and assets.
Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast, and cash flow.
Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, account receivables, accounts payable, expense reports, billing, and payroll.
Administer payroll, using various tools to deliver flawless payments.
Supervise new-hire onboarding, benefits administration, and broker relationship management.
Assist in the management of budget reporting, compliance, and reconciliation.
Prepare a variety of ad hoc financial scenarios as requested.
Monitor and follow the day-to-day activities of inventory (Raw materials, semi-processed and finished products) record in all company factories.
Transactional Responsibilities:
Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles/ IFRS.
Develop, implement, and maintain processes and controls that are current best practices related to transaction processing.
Manage, oversee, process (as appropriate), and act as backup for processing all of the following transactions: payroll, accounts payable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations, and allocations.
Control company Fixed asset registration record with balance sheet report
Perform month-end inventory closing procedures, including all direct and indirect cost with overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and updating schedules.
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
Assist in coordinating the preparation of the draft audited financial statements and all tax returns.
Coordinate the preparation of financial information in the corporate annual report.
Recommend and report upon benchmarks against which to measure organizational performance.
Follow up of cost allocation and cost build up system of the company.
Assist in production of cash flow reports, annual budget, and forecasts.
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management.
Provide for a system of management cost reports.
Provide financial analyses and models as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
Assure that monthly, quarterly and annually government tax obligations are conducted at a given time.
Perform any other related assignment from Finance Director.
Required Competencies
Experience in general accounting management is a must.
Understanding and knowledge of country different tax laws.
Strong analytical, organizational thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
The ability to work under pressure.
Analysis and report writing.
Peachtree Accounting knowledge is mandatory
Microsoft office experience is mandatory
Education
BA or Diploma in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university/college.
Experience
Bachelor's degree as a Senior accountant 6 years, or related field with 8 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance generalist and or/Diploma in Accounting or Finance or related field with8 years of experience in related field.
