Job Description
Diagnostics, maintenance, configuration and upgrades of existing network and DC hardware
Testing and installation of new hardware (e.g. server and its components)
Configuration of more complex components (e.g. as routers, hubs, bridges, switches and networking protocols)
Identification and isolation of hardware defects, troubleshooting, and resolving of critical technical issues of affected equipment.
Specification of power supply requirements and configuration
Monitoring of the physical infrastructure performance
Grade: 11
Permanent upon successful completion of probation period.
Salary: 10,165.00 birr.
Benefits: health coverage, monthly Transport allowance of 2,000.00 birrs, monthly housing allowance of 1,500.00 birr.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field
2+years of experience with computer hardware and server hardware or troubleshooting /diagnosing
Ability to perform component level repairs on equipment.
Certification from hardware vendor for warranty repair
Experience with operating systems and networking protocols
Ability to lift/move equipment as require.
