Job Description

The primary role of this position is to work closely with the respective Stakeholder to insure harmonious industrial relations between the company and employees resulting in a positive work culture.

This will include designing, collaborating, and implementing in conjunction with other stakeholders, employee communication strategies such as employee communication forums, compensation and benefits benchmarking, employee engagement surveys, and engaging with external stakeholders.

Major Responsibility

  • Drive the Company’s way of working, including mission, vision, and values through employee sensitization sessions;

  • Formulate the employee consultative forum in conjunction with the location HR lead including terms of reference.

  • Oversee and drive employee welfare initiatives, including health clinics, Medical insurance, and workers’ compensation.

  • Ensure Employee satisfaction surveys are conducted at least on a bi-annual basis.

  • Drive corporate social responsibilities recruitment initiative

  • Analyse the employee engagement activities, on a quarterly basis, to make recommendations on their effectiveness.

  • Review and advise management on employment contracts and compliance with labor legislation

  • Promptly highlights changes in labor legislation and/or risks in business.

  • Analyse on a monthly basis the grievance and disciplinary tracker and advice management on trends and areas of improvement.

  • Conducts and analysis exit interviews and recommends areas of improvement

  • Promote and work closely with respective stakeholders to drive Global Initiatives at the location

  • Acts as an internal mediator and/or counselor on conflict management matters. Yearly review of the HR policies and procedures to advise management or areas of improvement based on country-specific nuance;

  • Other tasks are given by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Academic Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or law

Additional qualification

  • Excellent interpersonal Skills and ability to communicate effectively

    • Must be highly organized, have a keen attention to detail and goal-oriented

    • Excellent data analysis skills

    • Demonstrated experience in managing external stakeholders.

    • Excellent MS Office Skills

    • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information

Experience: Minimum of 8 years experience in an HR role management capacity
