For our Procurement & Supply Department based in Ethiopia, we are looking for an experienced Procurement & Supply Manager

Department in Ethiopia is responsible for all procurement and supply related tasks of our location Red Fox Ethiopia PLC. The Procurement & Supply Manager assures that procurement and supply tasks are planned and executed according to the company expectations.

Your Tasks and responsibilities

The Procurement & Supply Manager is responsible for the overall management of a team of 15 employees. The role includes following specifics:

• Preparation of annual and strategic procurement & supply management plan.

• Leading and managing all import purchase, local purchase and store staffs.

• Support company operation with an uninterrupted flow of materials.

• Buy competitively and wisely.

• Deliver quality procurement service.

• Develop reliable alternative source of supply.

• Optimize, monitor, and control of all stock inventory

• Managing all process of procurement and warehouse of the company

• Work with other departments to source and purchase of new items and services.

• Liaising with banks and other external concerned bodies.

• Maintain record of goods ordered and received.       

• Proper implementation of QB for procurement and inventory management.

• Human resource management/development

• Report directly to General Manager

• External report to Group Purchase Director.

Job Requirements

Your Profile

• MBA/ BA in management, procurement & supply and other related fields.

• At least 10 years of solid experience in a disciplined international procurement and supply  environment, out of which more than 5 a years in a managerial position(s).

• Experience on import, logistics and clearance is mandatory

• Preferred work experience in Horticulture/Floriculture sector

• Very good in English language (written and oral)

• Very good knowledge of MS office (Excel/word/outlook/power point) and QB.

• Analytical know-how involving strategic thinking, collaboration and leadership, and performance-driven results

• Specific knowledge on procurement and inventory management.

• Skills in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.

• People management skill.

• Pro-active and team player

• Strong company procurement and supply management  policies enforcement discipline
