Semu Real Estate seeks to hire qualified and interested applicants who meet the educational requirements and services mentioned below:

Objective of the position

  • Highland bamboo weaving; Management and utilization.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying the spatial distribution of bamboo and its abundance;

  • Identifying the bamboo that has arrived for production and reporting the quantity or content to the company and/or the department;

  • Identification of other invasive plants that are a threat to bamboo;

  • Allowing the area reserved for the forest to be properly fenced and free from contact;

  • Establishing a bamboo nursery and producing seedlings;

  • Propagating and protecting the seedlings in the protected area and doing other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Masters or BA In forestry and conservation; natural resources; biology; Horticulture

  • 4 years or 6 years and more experience respectively.
