To work as part of a maintenance team and to work planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance of wiring, control, and lighting system inspect electrical component such as transformers and circuit breaker, identify electrical problems using a variety of testing device. Repair or replace wiring equipment or fixture using hand too or power tool.

• Install, Repair and replace wiring.

• Read blue print and schematic.

• document repairs and modification  

• Manage and mentor apprentice electrician.

• Work with contractors

• Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues

Duties/Responsibilities

ü  Maintain and repair industrial electrical machines and drive

ü  Surveying sites, where electrical systems installed.

ü  Drafting electrical installation plan and technical diagram

ü  Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems

ü  Completing work order and recording materials that are used on the job

ü  Perform operation of planned and preventative maintenance, identifying the root cause of problems and developing solutions in order to maximize efficiency and to conform to internal, external and legal requirements

ü  Report all maintenance issue  activity to the maintenance department

ü  Perform other duties as assigned from the maintenance  department and work as a team

ü  To perform Routine daily / weekly / monthly checks.

ü  To prepare, record and work paper tasks

ü  To undertake relevant meetings and training courses as required.

ü  To be aware of Health and Safety requirements and regulations and legislation governing the Dairy and food industries.

ü  To perform  inspection/observation  of any operational equipment of farm, factory, utility and any equipment/device of the plant during operation and idle time

ü  To perform Any order from maintenance department which can help the department as well as the  company

ü    Manage work shop, tool shop and make necessary  records

ü  Inspect and analyze equipment and diagnoses trouble or malfunction and make necessary adjustment to minimize service interruptions and equipment downtime and report

Education and experience requirement

·     TVET Diploma/B.Sc.in related fields . 2 Years   for diploma or 1 year for B.Sc.

Industrial electrical machine and drive technology –   level 4 and above

·       2 years of work experience
