Job Description
Key roles and responsibilities
Establish a multi-channel effective communication strategy for internal and external communications.
Prepare and manage all communications materials.
Manage international communications with the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and related bodies.
Serve as primary focal person for communication with key stakeholders;
Maintain brand integrity across all platforms;
Assist creation of digital, video, audio, and print content;
Establish and maintain close relations with media members, influencers, community leaders and other key stakeholders of the company;
Organize meetings, events, press conferences etc…
Represents the company in the international as well as local stages;
Perform media surveillance and use insights to improve communications strategy
Grade: 15
Terms and benefits
Permanent upon successful completion of probation period.
Benefits: health coverage, fuel allowance of 160 liters, a housing allowance of 2,500 birr.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications, Public relations, or any related field.
Minimum of seven years’ experience in communications and public relations engagement.
Excellent organization, time management, copy writing and copy editing abilities.
Experience in graphic design, layout, publishing and social media
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Amharic & English)
