Job Description

A Human Resources (HR) Assistant is a professional who is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. The ideal candidates are those who have Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economy, or related degrees to HR functions, with two years of experience and highly computer literate person.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Experienced in recruitment and selection candidates

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads to relevant channels, identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts

  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update database

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Department

  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)

  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

  • Knowledge of payroll& Monthly attendance preparation

  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

  • Manage and update employee database

  • Implementing, and evaluating all human resource department policies, procedures and structures.

Job Requirements

  • Good command of English

  • Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.

  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.

  • Exposure to payroll practices.

  • Full understanding of HR functions and practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.

  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.

  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.
