Currently, we are looking for Field Sales Specialist, who wins retains and develops Business Customers (BC). Targets new customers and generates additional revenue with existing customers by increasing share of wallet. Gathers customer and market information to update Product departments on current customer and market trends.

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

  • To manage a portfolio and potential customers via sales visits face to face contact, sales visits, provide personal service.

  • Successfully deliver on both target and high customer satisfaction measures.

  • Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations and loyalty through ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Respond to customer inquiries/complaints.

  • Manage a defined portfolio of potential customers and win them for a lasting business relationship with DPDHL 

  • Seeks and prospects for BC targets to win new customers generally in the 60k-1000k Euro range Net Sales per annum.

  • Plan and manage medium to large - sized Business Customers.

  • Build rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customers’ business and the market.

  • Recommend solutions based on customer needs by using industry knowledge.

  • Responsible for closing business by connecting a customer’s needs to a DHL solution by offering value to the client's supply chain.

  • Use networks within the various Sales channels inside DPDHL to collaborate on customers, and marketing strategies and offer a full supply chain of services to serve the customer needs.

  • Collect relevant customer information and prepare documents for customer implementation in order to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years within the transport, logistics/ freight forwarding industry (or similar service industry) & awareness of Ethiopian markets.

  • Experience in customs clearing sales environment with a proven record will be advantageous. 

  • Excellent English communication and Amharic.

  • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to focus on outcomes. 

  • Proven ability to build and manage strong client relationships.

  • Achievement-oriented.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to influence decisions/actions.

  • Champion for the development of successful sales engagement.

  • Solid PC operational skills along with MS Office applications experience.

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree desired.
