Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

§   Responsible for sharing data that are required for payroll process timely.

§   Effective management of compliance requirements with all government entities: Audit reports, Tax reports and compliance

§   Effective management of compensation benefits e.g. health insurance, social security etc

§   Provides a transactional HR service to the commercial team, supervisors and general staff on the leave, salary slips, health insurance and other employee related queries

§   Provides administrative support required to HR team

§   Provides administrative and coordination elements of training

§   Provides system’s support for all teams under commercial function.

§   Provide an effective, qualify transactional service in line with the set SLA

§   Provide HR advice, manage and resolve customer enquiries and requests for service support in line with the relevant policies.

§   Ensure customer queries, complaints/requests received are resolved completely and correctly and taken to closure.

§   Monitor, identify and highlight any gaps observed in process or service delivery to enhance Staff experience

§   Effective liaison between various functions / departments within the organization to gain support and help resolve issues

§   Contribute to reports and statistics through maintenance of accurate information and data records.

§   Prioritize workloads in accordance with agreed deadlines and delivery standards.

§   Prepare, collate and record information across HR, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data within all areas of responsibility

§   Monitor and manage daily HR services, taking/initiating appropriate action to ensure continuous achievement of service standards taking personal control where required resolving issue

§ Interprets policies & procedures and advice MCE staff respectively

§   Ensure appropriate induction processes for new staff under the commercial function.

§   Assist in Training interventions

§   Process new hires, promotions, separations, employee status changes, and other employee lifecycle events.

§   Process pays changes and paperwork including promotions/demotions/transfers, ad hoc wage/salary changes,

§   Create/update process related documentation

§   Ensure that all necessary documents and approvals have been received and information is entered accurately

§   Analize employment-related data and prepare required report. 

Stakeholder Management

§   Ensures high quality of services delivered (i.e. timeliness, accuracy, efficiency and responsiveness)

§   Ensures customer queries are escalated to the right level and right stakeholder until they are resolved to customer satisfaction

§   Advises and supports employees in understanding HR policy and services, and accessing service providers

§ Takes overall accountability for quality in the HR value chain / processes

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • BA degree Business related field

  • 2 - 3 years of HR generalist experience

  • Effective Communication (Written and Verbal)

  • Multiple stakeholder project facilitation

  • Implementation of relevant Centres of Excellence’ solutions to address key business challenges

  • Broad and comprehensive understanding of Human Resources concepts and principles

  •  Knowledge and experience of the business and its intricacies.
