Ye Ethiopia Lijoch Media is an Ethiopian Television Network that broadcast high quality educational, informative and entertaining television programs for different age groups. It is the first children television channel in Ethiopia, broadcasting to millions of audience across the country.
Job Summary
We’re currently looking for a talented Social Media manager with a focus on running social media pages across different platforms with a proven track record and experience. We are looking for a social media manager who:
Supports and understands the company’s vision
Skilled in social media management and digital marketing
Good at planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the company’s social media strategy so as to increase followers, viewership and engagement of customers across the company’s social media pages
Develop strategy, creates and manages content
Administer the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content for all channels and ads
Create a regular publishing schedule and reporting on data analytics on a regular basis
Integrate all channels of marketing including social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing
Running and managing all social media advertising campaigns
Maintaining regular communication with the company’s online audiences and respond to any and all online inquiries
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activitie
Report to: Project and Digital Media Director
Working environment: Demanding
Employment Type: Contract, Full time
Job Requirements
Qualification
BA degree in IT, Language and literature, other social science fields or related field
Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing
Proficient in social media management and digital marketing
Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants
Maintains excellent writing and language skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate information
Makes evident good technical understanding and a quick learner
