Coca Cola Job Vacancy | IT Officer

East Africa Bottling S.C Legal IT Officer position and is looking for passionate, capable and competent candidate, who are prepared to work with passion and focus. The role will report to IT Service Delivery Manager.

Job Requirement

Skills, Experience & Education:

First Degree in Computer Science/ IT with a minimum of 3 years experience on corporate IT matters.

 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications

  • monitor and maintain computer systems and networks

  • talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, (by means of remote tools, i.e. remote support) to help set up systems or resolve issues

  • troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults replace parts as required

  • provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports

  • follow processes and written/work instructions to repair a fault or set up a system

  • support the roll-out of new applications

  • assist new users to set up their accounts and profiles and deal with password issues

  • respond within agreed time limits to call-outs (within SLA)

  • work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to 3rd parties, 2nd and 3rd level, if appropriate)

  • prioritise and manage many open cases at one time (Incident Management)

  • rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as 2nd, 3rd level support as well as Vendors/3rd parties

  • test and evaluate new technology

  • ensure Computer Rooms are neat and in order according to the CCBA standards

  • conduct tests on generators and ensure UPS’ and other facilities/infrastructure are in working condition (Might need to ensure the Vendor or site maintenance conduct the tests)
