Job Description
Ethio Wetlands and Natural Resources Association (EWNRA) is a registered nongovernmental organization working to improve food security, livelihood bases and enhance sustainable management of natural resources in Ethiopia. EWNRA is going to implement REGRADE II Project in East Belessa woreda (district) of Central Gondar in partnership with and funding of Concern Worldwide. EWNRA would like to invite dynamic and creative applicants for the following position:
Main duties & Responsibilities:
Facilitate the targeting of the poorest and most vulnerable (especially women and landless HHs)
Coordinate assessments, surveys related to the programme, data collection and compiling.
Prepare participatory action plan with EWNRA stakeholders and perform work as the part of the team.
Supervise Household Caseworkers as per their work plan
Provide the required support to household case workers and seek support from program officers as per the need
Demonstrate and implement extension massage and activities particular to the target beneficiaries
Ensure that program resources are efficiently and effectively utilized at grass root level
Encourage, supervise and provide proper technical support for community development worker to carryout planned activities according to the action plan
Encourage beneficiary households to maximize their project benefit through provision of technical support.
Build the capacity of kebele task force members, support groups to make them able to bring the intended behavioral change in the targeted beneficiaries.
Facilitate the trainings of beneficiaries and community leaders at their locality as required
Organize and attend Kebele Food Security Task Force (KFSTF) and other appropriate meeting at the kebele level.
Substitute the role of community workers role at kebele level as appropriate by the line manager
Under the guidance of FIM, and Graduation officer directly responsible to ensure that all planned activities are implemented within the target Community micro watersheds and kebeles
Ensure that mainstreaming issues (Gender, HIV/AIDS, environment and DRR) are well integrated during the program implementation
Adhere Safeguarding policies and guidelines across the target community including checking the effectiveness of Complaint Response Mechanisms (CRM) established in the operational areas.
HR
Participate in household caseworker development through performance development review.
Follow up where household caseworkers are performing their duty and stationed at the assigned working area.
Reporting
Provide monthly activities report accurately and comprehensively to the project coordinator.
Prepare feedback report following the visit in the assigned kebeles (Community micro watersheds)
Monitoring & Evaluation
Prepare and implement monitoring plan at the respective working areas of the HH Caseworkers.
Regularly assessing REGRADE II programme impact in operational areas.
Ensure that different activities are implemented according to the plan and integrated with respective woreda development plan including the PSNP
Ensure the involvement of women in all areas of development process and decision making activities
Keep the project records, document and minutes of meeting in safe and accessible way.
Prepare weekly and monthly work plan according to action plan
Assign other duties appropriate to the position and assigned by the project coordinator.

Accountability
In line with EWNRA’s commitments under the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS):
actively promote meaningful community participation and consultation at all stages of the project cycle (planning, implementation, M&E);
work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the Complaints and Response Mechanism (CRM) is functional and accessible, that feedback and complaints are welcomed and addressed;
Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that information about CRM, safeguarding and expected staff behavior is disseminated among program participants and communities.

Qualifications:
Person specification:
Minimum College Diploma, in any related fields of study with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience respectively.
Short & mid-term training on rural development, health & nutrition, wash etc
Competencies:
Previous work Experience on Integrated Development program (Health & Nutrition, Community Development, FIM and WASH
Good commitment to work & base and work in remote areas.
Good written and spoken English.
Having good communication & report writing skills.
