Founded in 2014 by three college friends in Addis Ababa. Minab IT Solutions Plc is a technology solutions provider with teams in Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Mekelle, Adama, Diredawa, Debre Birhan, Bahir Dar, Bulbula, Bure, Yirgalem and Kombolcha. The communication intern is responsible for developing communication strategies in order to promote the organization's mission, services or product & handles the company's digital presence as well as its social media channels while delivering
This role requires 0 to 2 years of working experience with a bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Public Relations or in a related field of study and a strong written and verbal English fluency, must be demonstrated by the candidate.
Furthermore, the below-listed qualifications are required: -
Knowledge and/or ability to write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.
Knowledge and/or experience in publishing digital marketing content online
Digital media skills, such as blog administration
Demonstrable ability in managing or contributing to the conception and implementation of an organization's internal and external communications plans and presentation, including its online presence.
Demonstrable good Communications Skills with ability to learn and adapt quickly & suggesting and developing ideas for social media marketing.
Able to oversee and supervise communications of a company, entity, or person in online outlets
Able to ensure that the information being communicated online is in line with the strategy and image aimed to be conveyed
Able to work under supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge in writing and producing presentations, articles, press releases and social media posts
Detail-oriented with the ability to execute instructions
Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Able to implement human resource regulations, policies, or procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic
Basic problem-solving and critical thinking and well-developed skill on required outputs follow up
Excellent Knowledge of Social Media Platforms
Taking initiative, responsible, good time management, and organization skills
Knowledge/ability to respond effectively to the demands of the media.
Write, edit, and upload text and multimedia content to all our social media outlets
Ability to manage relevant social media platforms of the company to generate brand growth and positive sentiment for the organization, as well as being tasked with creating new, innovative and talk-worthy content to drive awareness and engagement
