Sabahar works with hand weavers and spinners to produce high quality textiles which we sell globally and locally. We are currently looking for qualified personnel to work in our marketing department.

Job Summary:

The position will include the following tasks:

 Export Customer management

• Responsible for relationships and transactions with our international customers. Offer suggestions to buyers based on research of their brand and their trends.

• Manage sales accounts for designated buyers, which include all correspondence with buyers, producing production plans, following up production of the orders and exporting.

 Costing, pricing and quality management

• Work with management team to review costing and establish adjusted prices yearly, and communicate the changes to our international buyers.

 New product development and design, and promotion

• Assist Marketing Manager and external consultants with annual or biannual product development cycle in coordination with production department and R and D department.

• Assist with photography if required.

• Research trends and international market opportunities for Sabahar.

 Department management

• Be responsible to manage International marketing assistant

 Management team

•  participate actively on management team

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Terms of Employment: One year renewable contract

Commitment; 5 days a week, plus 1 Saturday per Month

 Job Requirements

• BA Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Planning or related field of study.

• 2 years and above work experience in marketing and sales (1 year in Managerial position).

• Exposure and/or experience with global marketing, preferably in textiles.

• Work experience in manufacturing company is an asset.

• Good proficiency in English and Amharic.
