Job Description

Job Summery:

Reports to the Managing Director of the Company and responsible to lead the construction, the manufacturing, the rental, and trading of construction related products and also post tension works.  Responsible for maintaining highly motivated staff, supported by the necessary IT capabilities and maintain the profitability and sustainability of the Company.

The highlights of the responsibilities are indicated below and the full job description shall be handed at the engagement stage.

Develop Strategic Goals

  • Develop purpose-driven, forward focused, actionable, measurable strategies and plans that ensure the Company’s vision and mission are met;

  • Gather information needed to understand and identify the issues, challenges and trends that will shape and affect the Company; and look into the future and identify trends and issues against which to align organizational priorities of the Company;

  • Develop strategic plans to guide and direct multiple streams of work.

Asses Organizational Capabilities

  • Conduct an organizational capabilities assessment by setting performance indicators for each capability (Organizational culture, leadership performance, strategic unity, innovation, Agility, Talent, and customer connectivity are some of the examples) and determine where the Company currently stands in comparison to the market requirement and understand the capability gap;

  • Review contextual factors to provide a better understanding of the external environment and the relationship between the internal and external environment;

  • Examine the organizational structure by taking into consideration client requirements and the environment;

  • After conducting a thorough assessment, prioritize and create an action plan with quantitative and qualitative goals and milestones;

Design (Review) Structure to Support the vision

  • Adjust the organizational structure to fit new opportunities such as specialized constructions (post-tension and fit-out) in an adaptive manner thereby creating organizational realignment by closing the structural gaps impeding organizational performance and ensuring long term viability;

  • Provide a road map on how to fully migrate to the new structure;

  • Put in place appropriate measures to fully implement the adjusted organizational structure;

Right People in the Right Place

  • Create a job description that specifies the responsibilities of each position.

  • Recruit appropriate personnel that share the Company’s core values with a willingness to support a culture based on those values; and with the right skills that can operate within their area of greatest skill and passion.

  • Create a checklist to evaluate the adherence of a candidate to each of the Company’s core values and set a minimally accepted score.

  • Put in place job performance evaluation parameters and checklists

Job Requirement

  • Educational Background: M. Sc, B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/MBA, Masters degree in related fields

  • Essential Skill: Strategic leadership, preferably having some knowledge on the management of post tension technology

  • Experience: 10 Years and Above
