Job Description
Assega Construction PLC is a recently established company that is engaged and is to engage in various specialized construction related activities such as Post Tension Construction, Manufacturing, Rental, and Trading of construction materials. The Company anticipates to provide integrated design, manufacturing and construction service for projects using post-tensioning systems and would like to bring onboard knowledgeable, experienced and energetic candidate capable of organizing and leading the Post-Tension Construction team and take up the company to the next level.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of the Company, the candidate will be responsible to lead and direct the Post-Tension Construction works team by providing high-level management of our crews and subcontractors on PT projects including but not limited to residential, office and mixed-use buildings. Shall be responsible for maintaining highly motivated staff, supported by the necessary IT capabilities and maintain the profitability and sustainability of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Candidate will be tasked to oversee the following services:
Engineering (Preparation of post-tension design and field installation drawings, Value Engineering and Cost Estimating, strengthening of existing structures using external post-tensioning, modification of post-tensioning systems in existing structures and other related services);
Field Service (Construction and post construction);
Material Supply (Post-Tensioning Components such as Cable Pack, Hardware and Accessories);
Marketing and Sales (To acquire external construction projects of various types and scale)
Job Requirement
Educational Background: M. Sc/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management/ or related fields
Essential Skill: Strategic leadership, knowledge on the management of post tension technology and 5+ years of experience in Post tensioning focused construction
Experience: 10 Years and Above
Place Of Work: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
