Job Description
The Sales Manager will develop and implement strategies to increase sales, create sales plans, and grow the customer base. The candidate must be able to build relationships with customers, demonstrate an ability to close deals, and have excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Develop and implement strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention
Develop sales plans to meet revenue targets
Conduct market research and identify potential clients
Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance
Establish relationships with key customers in order to maximize revenue
Negotiate contracts with vendors and maintain supplier relationships
Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing strategies based on analysis findings
Develop strategies for increasing market share and profitability
Monitor customer satisfaction levels and ensure customer requirements are met
Participate with pricing analysis
Prepare regular reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or in a related field of study (MBA Preferred)
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in Transport and Logistics
