Purpose of the Job:

To enhance the services standard of the clinic by discovering the presence or absence of disease and provide data that help nurses determine the best treatment for the employee patient.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·    Conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments.

·    Plan, set up and undertake controlled experiments and trials.

·    Record and analyze data.

·    Demonstrate procedures.

·    Collect, prepare and/or test samples.

·    Maintain, calibrate, clean and test sterility of the equipment.

·    Provide technical support.

·    Present results to clinic staff.

·    Write reports, review and summaries.

·    Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.

·    Carry out risk assessments.

·    Order and maintain stock and resources. 

Job Requirements

·    Diploma or Level IV in Laboratory Technician or Bio Chemistry or related fields with three (3) years of demonstrated experience

Or

Certificate in Level III or Level II in Laboratory Technician or Bio Chemistry or related fields with four (4) years of direct experience in the field preferably COC Certified
